Playing with a Growth Mindset

This game has been created as a collaborative game. The board is our school logo and the playing pieces are the bees. It could be played in pairs or in small groups. It is similar to a Beetle Drive type of game, but can be adapted to suite the age of the players.  The team must work together to complete the task and share the questions and discussions initiated by the Mindset cards. The game could be extended  by encouraging children to create their own sets of cards.

Below you can read the question cards and see examples of a simple , trickier and challenging set of rules.

We will be playing the game with the children in Year 2 & 6 next week as part of our special day when we host visiting Head teachers from Buckinghamshire for the day and also take part in a special cluster twilight focusing on Growth Mindsets.
