Autumn 2, SEAL assemblies, Children in Need and Anti Bullying.
Sunday 1st November | No comments yet
The SEAL theme for this half term is ‘Getting on and Falling out.’ Here is the Ethos Bee for the half term with each weeks theme on it.
The first week’s assembly will focus on ‘respect.’ What does ‘respect’ mean? How can we show respect? How do you know when others when ‘respect’ you?
In the KS1 assembly on Monday, we will share this short video to find out more about respect.
During the assembly we will also be talking to the children about the following week, when we will be focusing on ‘Actions that show others that I care.’ As part of this we will learn about Remembrance Day and poppies will be available for the children to purchase. Friday 13th November is Children in Need day and the children will be able to come to school in their own clothes. The theme for Children in Need is ‘Champions of Change,’ and children will be invited to bring in loose change for this cause. The School Council will be meeting at the beginning of the week and will send out further information about Children in Need and also Anti Bullying week, which is the following week, from November 16th.
